Module: Hotels
Hotels is built around how accommodation actually works in practice for GFNY-style events, particularly in Indonesia: rather than routing bookings through third-party affiliate programs, the event organizer contracts directly with hotels — buying a room allotment, or renting the entire host hotel outright — and resells those rooms under its own name, bundled with additional VIP services.
Why Not the Affiliate/Commission Route
Large chains (e.g. Sheraton) can issue a discounted booking code, but a real commission arrangement on top of that requires case-by-case negotiation — slow and often not worth the effort. Based on direct experience, this path doesn’t work reliably, at least in Indonesia. The own-inventory model (allotment or full host-hotel rental, resold directly) is the one that actually functions in practice.
What the Module Should Do
| Present VIP packages | Show the room/VIP packages the event organizer has put together — not generic third-party listings. |
| Explain the value | Clearly communicate what’s included in each package (room category, added VIP services) so the value is obvious to the participant. |
| Drive booking | Actively encourage participants toward booking, rather than passively listing options and leaving them to figure it out. |
Open Point
Not yet decided: whether the actual booking/payment happens inside Sabin, or whether Sabin drives the participant to a separate booking step (contact, form, or external link) handled outside the chat.
Relationship to Flights
Flights follows a different logic (no equivalent „own-inventory“ model for flights) and is tracked separately rather than bundled with Hotels.
